There are a few people you can call in an alcohol poisoning situation. Here are a few numbers you should dial:

  • 911 (From anywhere)
  • 711 (From campus phone)
  • #78 or #SU (From a cell phone)
  • (315) 443-2224 (Campus Safety)

What to do in These Situations:

DO

  1. Stop, drop, and roll a person onto their side, to prevent choking on vomit
  2. Make the call
  3. Stay with the person

DON'T

  1. Let the person sleep it off
  2. Give them coffee or food
  3. Put them in a cold bath or shower
  4. Make them exercise or walk around
